The "unofficial" election results for 2008 show that we garnered over 62% of the vote for the State House 52nd District! We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you for your support and help!

Following our success on Election Day, I was elected Speaker Pro Tempore of the Michigan House of Representatives, building on my leadership experience in past legislative sessions.

I'm thrilled to have received a vote of confidence from my colleagues in the House, and it is an honor to be elected to this leadership team. House Democrats are focused on the task that lies before us and will continue to fight to create good-paying jobs, get our economy back on track and make Michigan a great place to live, work and raise a family.
