Welcome to my re-election campaign website. In 2004 and 2006, you sent me to our State Capitol to promote common-sense policies that create good-paying jobs, excellent schools, and protect our natural resources.

Gaining a Democratic majority in the Michigan House in 2006 marked the beginning of real change for our state and our district. As a member of the leadership team and in my role as Associate Speaker Pro Tem, I work every day to make progress on the issues that matter to the 52nd district.

House Democrats are committed to building a stronger Michigan for every resident. We have a bold vision to strengthen Michigan's economy and to make our state a powerhouse in the 21st century global economy.

By focusing on creating jobs, protecting health care, strengthening education, safeguarding our Great Lakes, bolstering consumer protections and promoting renewable energy, we can create a brighter future for the State of Michigan.
